Firmware & Web App Update

  • Download and save the zip file to your desktop (the file may be in your browser’s “downloads” folder).
  • Right click, and click Extract Here.
  • A folder named “webapp” will be created on the desktop.

  • Turn the vehicle ignition on (engine not running) to power on the iLIFT ECU.
  • Connect to iLIFT WiFi (note that you will not be able to browse the internet during this process).
  • Enter the default WiFi password “ABCDEFGH”.
    Note: passwords can be changed at a later step.
  • You do not need to wait for the device to connect to the iLIFT ECU.
  • Open browser (Microsoft Edge recommended).
  • Browse to 1.2.3.4 as shown.
  • Enter “admin” in to the password box.

  • Click System Utilities.

  • Click File Uploader on the System Utilities page.

  • Click Browse…

  • Browse to the “webapp” folder on your desktop. Find the “uploads” folder.
  • Select both files in the uploads folder by folding down shift and clicking each.
  • With both highlighted as shown, click Open.
  • Click Upload.

  • This process will take 15-20 minutes, depending on the firmware update size.
  • When complete, you will get a message that the file transfer is complete as shown.

  • Click back to the System Utilities page.
  • Click Web App Updater.

  • Browse to the “webapp” folder on your desktop. Find the “uploads” folder.
  • Select all files (by holding down the shift button) except the “uploads” and “images” folders.
  • Click Open.
  • This process will take about 3-5 minutes.
  • When complete, you will get a message that the file transfer is complete as shown.
  • Turn off the ignition.
  • Turn on the ignition. You will here a series of one long beeps, then 10 consecutive beeps. This process will take about 1-2 minutes.
  • Once the firmware update process is complete, you will hear the normal long beep then short beep indicating the ECU update process has completed.
